This is an old motel and needs work, but they are working on it. New beds ,tv's, linens, carpet. It's a start and it shows. Good, friendly staff helps too!
This is everything a Roadside motel should be: cheap, clean, comfortable, and hospitable. The proprietor is very friendly, and good at what he does.
Awesome stay for snowmobile trip! Nice little motel, very helpful and friendly staff, let us keep our snowmobiles in the shed overnight.

We recently stayed here during a ski weekend to the Porkies. Excellent value if you're looking for basic accommodations. The rooms were warm and clean and the beds were comfortable. The mini fridge and microwave were an added bonus. The owners were both very friendly and repeatedly mentioned letting them know if we needed anything. Classic UP hospitality!
